Service Description

The intention of this offering is to not only spread awareness on the importance of removing our children from the public school system, but to provide information on how to make this transition in a holistic way that is safe and effective for our family and community. 1-on-1 meeting with parent/guardian(s) to discuss Florida homeschooling laws and proposed upcoming changes, as well as collect and share resources for parents and students that will homeschool AND those that will remain in public schools. This meeting will include: • Write up of laws and recommended laws regarding future plans to open all US public schools • Step by step instructions to withdraw children from public school and register for homeschooling education in the state of Florida • How to keep records of student’s education (PreK-12) • How to ensure your child is vaccination exempt • How to transition my lifestyle to accommodate my child’s education • List of local community resources for educational activities, childcare services, parenting help, tutoring, mentoring, etc. • Questionnaire to access your family’s needs and possible offerings to community Our goal is to access what families may need and what can be offered to and from the community. Knowing the basic facts of what we are facing gives us the opportunity to properly plan and prepare to provide the best education to our community through the abundance of resources available.
